Week Eight.
Hello everyone, now in the spirit of full frontal honesty I had to do my blog video to remember what happened in Week 8. I was feeling a bit slack, like I accomplished nothing but I'm actually finding these videos really helpful in reminding me what I have done and where my gaps and wins are.
I find it quite easy to get caught up in the Monday fog and be like "shit, i'm useless" but at least for me these videos are good to be like "hey, that was a bit useless, but that part was really good!". So here we go!
Week 8.
One thing I'm really loving about being in London is the social aspect. I'm not sure who you are and where you are reading this from, but if it's New Zealand then you'll know that the majority of our millenial gen have gapped it for greener pastures, greater earning potential and somewhere perhaps a bit more positive (dare I say that)....
It's nice to be back in the land of social activities - going out to shows and gigs and cool weekend brunches that aren't at Lulu Inn where the toilets smell like vomit at 10am.
But I'm also excited to be back in the swing of all my creativity - The Artist's Way, scriptwriting, songwriting, covering songs and even trying out this whole social media thing (with varying levels of success).
Look I don't know if you have ever been in corporate but I feel like it's very easy to lose yourself in the long hours, the expectations and the cookie-cutter personality that people push in those environments. At risk of sounding like an absolute wank, I feel like I'm starting to find the new me - the 30 year old crazy bitch who moved to London and is trying to follow a few dreams. I'm kinda liking her.
Anyway - I was an absolute slack bitch on photos this week so please go to my Tiktok for the visuals! You'll see the icon shamelessly strewn about this page in the hopes that I can get more than 41 followers ;)
Thank you for your support and have a fabulous week!!! <3
