Week One
My first post. Week One of holding myself publicly accountable for doing the shit I need to do.

Why i'm writing this for you (my soon to be loyal readers)
I've been in London for three months now officially. I've founded a flat, been to Portugal, seen some awesome shows and made many, many lists about how I'm going to pursue acting and singing now I've made it to the land of opportunity.
Coming out of 10 years in a corporate job, I didn't really take into account that I might need a break. So that's what I've done while also chipping away at my to-do list.
But now the time has come. Accelerate. Achieve. Go forth. Fucking conquer.
That's the mission anyway. Between here and my socials I'm going to commit to weekly goals and send through videos of where I've succeeded, failed, perhaps cried and god willing have made in roads on my mission. To be a successful, healthy, relatively fabulous and incredibly productive international singer, actress, fiancé and member of the human race.
I've left my family, my man and our new wee puppy behind so I'm on the clock and it's time to get my ass into gear.
If you're interested in following along, please continue reading these blog posts and follow me on my socials.
This week's achievements (professional edition).
Screen acting class with Lonesome
Went and did my second Lonesome screen acting class on Friday with Finella. Was bloody awesome and fun to get up and practice my standard British accent.

Bought the final pieces of my self tape set-up
At vast expense with a view to investing in myself, I purchased a pull up backdrop and some lights so I can be camera ready when the self tape requests come flooding in.
I got little mics as well which is so exciting. Officially have no excuse not to do VOs for my socials now...
Figured the most appropriate photo was the logo of where I spend all my money these days...
New favourite place at The Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch. Absolute vibe with INCREDIBLE band.
Excuse the blurry photo. Wine may have been involved.
Got inspired at Shoreditch Got Soul

This week's achievements (home edition).
Sorted out the outdoor area.
Cleaned the disgrace that was our large window looking out from the lounge. Bought plants. Planted them. Brushed out the whole place and made it look like fully functional adults live here.

Bought screens & set them up.
Anyone who has worked with two or more screens knows there is just no going back. After three months of bitching and moaning and putting off computer admin because of my single screen status, I finally bit the bullet. It's a whole new world.
Look I am putting this down because it was my week to do chores and I didn't feel like doing them but did them. Sometimes this is a win and we have to acknowledge that even though clearing the shower drain was not the ideal activity for a Sunday evening, it was a good move for Monday you.
However this one is too boring for pictures so I have instead let AI generate something for you. It captured the essence very nicely.
Did the chores.

In other news.
Also this week I went out to the country to hang out with a couple of mates and their new wee girl. It was 30 degrees, full blown sunshine and complete bliss. Spent Saturday hungover and purchasing flowers and making a commitment to not being hungover next Saturday. Rained earlier in the week which did actually keep me a bit more productive. Ahh well - it'll be rain 24/7 soon enough so I will take all the distracting sunshine I can at the moment thank you mother nature.
2 days dry. 1.5 days vaping. 3 x workouts. 1 pizza and pasta takeaway.
